Weather Situation
A strong high pressure system south of the Bight will move slowly eastwards to
be over Tasmania on Friday and Saturday, reaching the Tasman Sea on Sunday.

Forecast for Thursday until midnight
Winds: Southeasterly around 10 knots tending south to southeast and increasing
to 15 knots this afternoon. Seas: 0.5 to 1 metres.

Forecast for Friday
Winds: Southeasterly 5 to 10 knots becoming light during the morning then
tending south to southeasterly up to 10 knots during the afternoon. Winds
tending east to southeasterly later in the evening. Seas: Below 0.5 metre.

Forecast for Saturday
Winds: East to southeasterly 5 to 10 knots tending south to southeasterly 10 to
15 knots during the afternoon then tending east to southeasterly during the
evening. Seas: Below 0.5 metre increasing to 0.5 to 1 metre during the evening.

Forecast for Sunday
Winds: East to northeasterly 5 to 10 knots tending southeasterly 10 to 15 knots
during the afternoon. Seas: Below 0.5 metre increasing to 0.5 to 1 metre during
the evening.
